Aside from design systems work, I worked on proof of concept work to improve user experiences, gaining R&D experience. Having contributed steadily on the team and built a lot of trust with partnering teams, I continued my work at Pega for an additional season where I was assigned as a lead designer for a large-scale internal project where created an experience from scratch and worked with stakeholders and developers to build the product within a few months.

Lead a group of 10 interns, as the sole UX Designer on the team, to finish first place in the annual intern competition against 4 other teams. We had the opportunity to present in front of senior leadership. I was responsible for creating all visuals and mockups, as well as a prototype, of our final product. I learned a lot in the ways to involve others in technical conversations that may be out of other peoples' expertise and incorporate their ideas into a cohesive vision and product. The winner of the competition would have their designs shipped for internal use in future years.
